Mapping Invasive Plants on PSU Campus

To determine the invasive species found on the Portland State University campus we obtained a list of plant species present on each block of campus from the Portland State groundskeeper. From this list we identified the plants that are considered invasive or have the potential to be invasive. We then did a survey of the invasive plants on campus, confirming the presence of those on the groundskeeper’s list and identifying other plants not on the list. A profile was written up for each of the invasive plants found on campus. A google map was created, containing the profiles and locations of the invasive plants on campus.
